The Status Quo
Neither separation nor divorce is a remedy for healing bad relationships
Neither separation nor divorce is a panacea for healing bad relationships. In fact, it is no way of healing at all. Separation is a traumatic event, a desperate cry from the soul: »I can’t go on like this any longer!«
Until now, separation has always been what everyone involved was striving to avoid at all cost. So we stay imprisoned in the relationship instead, partly because it feels so much like home. It feels like what we watched being lived, no matter how bad it was.
The purpose of this book is to point out a possible way for »partners in crisis« to be able to come closer together and finally let go of each
other.
Separation can be the end of something that has lost its meaning.
